THE HUMBLE PETITION of the Tai Yan

Steamship Company of Victoria in the Colony of Hongkong Steam Launch Proprietors and of the Lee Kee Steamship Company, Tai Wing Steamship Co, Sam Wo Steamship Co, Hop Yick steamship Co, Weing Hing Steamship Co, Wing Shun Steamship Co, Tak Kee, Kwong Fook Steam- ship Co, Wai Ki, Tung Kee Steamship Co, Wing Hing Steamship Co, Tak On Steamship Co, and Chang Plu Kee being all parties lately engaged in carrying on the business of the Yaunati and Sanshuipo Ferry Services in the Harbour of Victoria in the Colony of Hongkong.

SHEWETH as follows :-

On the 7th day of April 1919 the Goverment of Hongkong under cover of a despatch of that date transmitted to Hie Majesty's Principal Secretary of State for the Colonies a Petition by your Petitioners which set out the circumstances under which the Ferry services theretofore carried on by your Petitioners came to an end as the result of the
